I Have Found the Holy Grail of Makeup.

So this past week was my birthday and my sweet hubby took me somewhere I have always wanted to go! It’s a little out of the ordinary, but I have always told him that I would love to go to one of these places, we just didn’t know where any were located. Luckily for me one opened in our town recently and I FINALLY got to go!!

In true southern fashion we went to the SHOOTING RANGE!!

I know, I know I’m a girl and I’m far from a “redneck” but let me tell you this place was fantastic! I felt like a cop on TV who was training for an undercover mission or letting off some steam after catching the bad guy.

Or killing a zombie. Whatevs.

I’ve never felt more ready to take on the undead in my life!

On a serious note, I learned some valuable information on gun safety and how to protect myself or my family if it ever came down to it, which hopefully it never will, but if it does I’m confident enough now that I won’t accidentally shoot myself instead of a burglar!

Okay, okay I know what you must be thinking...”Holy Grail, yeah right.”

I KID YOU NOT.

I have been on a search for YEARS trying to find a makeup brand that fit both the ingredient list I wanted and the quality of product that I am used to.

After MANY attempts and trails of different brands I HAVE FOUND IT!!!! I promise you...it’s that good.

May I introduce you to...

The All Natural Face

Thanks to the magical powers of Google and some research into some different natural makeup brands, I stumbled across the website for The All Natural Face.

It is a fairly small company that is based out of Royal Palm Beach, Florida that prides themselves on a completely "vegan, cruelty-free, and CLEAN" product line. They say the ingredients are so natural that you could eat it if you wanted to.

But don't. That's gross.

5 REASONS THE ALL NATURAL FACE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED:

1. All the products are clean.

They only use natural products from the earth in their cosmetics. No artificial ingredients, no talc, no bismuth, no carmine, no parabens (we talked about these in Ditch That Poo!) all which can cause issues either by being a potential toxin, or causing your skin to irritate.

2. They 100% have your shade...and everything else.

I have always had an issue with finding the right shade of foundation. It was always too dark or too light, too "warm" or pink. With The All Natural Face you get to try EVERY single shade of their foundation so you can make sure you find the right one.

For only $4.60 they will send you a sample of every foundation in your shade range so you can try before you buy! This is so nice because I can't tell you how many times I have bought a foundation at the drug store and got home just to find out it was the wrong shade. Anybody else??

They also have what they call the "Get Started Green Kit: Sample Just About Everything". By golly, they mean everything. This was one of my Christmas presents last year and let me tell you...this box is AMAZING.

For $23 they send you samples of all the foundation shades, 20 samples of eye shadows (that will last you for like, ever.), samples of all their Veils, Glows, and Concealers, Blush samples that will literally last a year if you're up for changing up your blush every so often, and they send you a Baby Kabuki/Buffer Brush for foundation AND a vegan eyeshadow/concealer brush! SO MUCH MAKEUP!!

3. This stuff COVERS.

I'm always hesitant of mineral foundation because of the lack of coverage I have had with some in the past. I especially don't want to spend so much and get such little quality of a product in comparison to some of the bigger makeup brands.

I was SO shocked when I tried this makeup. I was expecting just a light, translucent powder that basically just absorbed the oil and did little for coverage. Man, was I wrong.

It is amazing. It absorbs, it covers, it lasts all day. SUCH A WIN!!!!

4. They have more than just makeup.

We're talking:

bath bombs,

fragrance oils,

body butters,

balms, lotions,

perfumes,

deodorants,

sunless tanners,

outdoor lotions,

shampoo,

conditioner,

tooth powder/polish

...and the list goes on and on.

I haven't tried everything yet, but over time I am planning on sampling it all!

5. THEY ARE BUDGET FRIENDLY!!!!

Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP?!?!

One of my biggest hold backs over the years for a permanent switch to natural makeup was the PRICE! I am on a fixed budget and $40/month for foundation was just not going to happen all the time.

For a full size foundation, full size veil, and a medium size concealer (which they let me swap out for a bronzer) they charge $26 total for all three products. Vastly cheaper than most natural makeup brands! And these are going to last me at least 2-3 months. These bad boys are so PACKED with product it is difficult to get it out the first two or three times you use it. That is a good problem!

For just a foundation they charge $12.45 for the mineral powder, but you can get the cream foundation pot for $6.50. WHAAAAA????? I haven't tried the cream yet, but it's next on my to-do list!

I think I have made my case on why this is the best make-up brand that has ever happened. You HAVE to go and check them out and once you try their products I guarantee you will be all in too.
